KDK Archaeology NEWS

recent cifa inspection

In January 2018 we had our CIfA inspection. Some of the things the panel were impressed by included:

  • the quality of the archaeology and how comprehensive and well-written our reports are
  • our dedicated building survey team
  • the level of organisation we have both with our systems and the office layout
  • our commitment to training and the quality of the mentoring
  • the personal development opportunities within the company
  • the level of communication with our fieldwork team
We are very fortunate to have such a dedicated, enthusiastic and committed team at KDK, and it's thanks to all of our efforts and hard work that we have received such high praise from the professional body representing archaeologists.

we have moved again!!

We have had to vacate our lovely office in favour of bigger premises. This not only gives us more space but allows us to unite our in-house services under one roof and leaves us room for expansion. So as of 9th October 2017 our new address is:

Unit 3,
Leighton Road,
Leighton Buzzard,
Central Bedfordshire,
LU7 1LA.

safe contractor

We are pleased to announce that KDK Archaeology is now an accredited member of the Safe Contractor scheme. This, together with our status as a Registered Organisation with the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists, reinforces our commitments to working within a robust Health and Safety framework.

We have moved!

As part of KDK’s continuing growth we have relocated to new offices in the centre of town.
As of 8th October 2014 our new address will be:

7b High Street Mews,
Leighton Buzzard,
Central Bedfordshire,
LU7 1EA

KDK's RO Listing Published

On March 28th, KDK's Registered Organisation listing was published on the CIfA's website.

Revamped website

We are continuing to develop and grow the company, and the revamped website is a reflection of that. We've added pages related to the projects we have recently undertaken which will be updated with the larger and/or more interesting projects in due course.

    KDK become an RO

On March 19th, the Registered Organisations Committee of the IFA voted to accept KDK Archaeology's application for Registered Organisation status. We are delighted and immensely proud to have been accepted.
